At Comic Art Masters you will find a selection of original cartoons. Each piece is a unique masterpiece by an important cartoonist, illustrator or cartoonist. It is our mission to contribute to the appreciation for these “originals”. In many countries, especially the United States, France and Belgium, this art form has been highly appreciated by collectors, museums and investors for some time. That is also reflected in the price. Works by the most important artists (such as Herge van Tintin), are sold for amounts with 6 zeros. Very high amounts are also paid for original cartoons by renowned Franco-Belgian artists such as Franquin (Guust Flater) and Edgar P. Jacobs (Blake and Mortimer). Some Dutch draftsmen are also appreciated abroad. Especially those who have or have had success abroad. The recognition of “The Ninth Art” is growing. We invite you to enjoy our collection. The last generation of "real artists"

We live in a special time. We can still enjoy artisanal masters of ninth art. With the increasing graphic possibilities of the computer, more and more artists have stopped manual inking and coloring. The computer saves a lot of time. Now that artificial intelligence gives even more possibilities, it is to be feared that “real” drawings and colorings will become even more scarce. Fortunately, we can continue to enjoy the originals of the artists from ‘other times’ for a long time. How will we look back on these originals later? Will they be as appreciated as the old masters? Will they be embraced more and more by leading museums? We think so.

Collaboration with artists

We work together with a number of leading artists. These are put in the spotlight through temporary virtual exhibitions. The work of these artists will only be offered for sale for a limited time.
